I think every internet marketer there ever was has run into a brick wall at one time or another, trying to make there fortune online.

What starts the problem is the mindset we get from going to work everyday, and getting paid for every hour we put in at the end of the week, every week, there is a very short wait until we get paid, but we always know we will get paid soon, we are taught this almost from birth. Most of us watch are parents do it and then we repeat the inevitable rut………..home to work…….home to work…. then we pay taxes and die! This can set us up for failure because are mindset will be fixated on getting paid immediately for the work we do and as long as we keep doing the work we will keep getting paid, we dont know any different………until we try internet marketing of course.

Usually the only people who mentally see it different are commissioned based sales people, professionals who had years of schooling  and people who own or have owned a business in the past. They at one point or another have been accustomed to delayed gratification….this is why these professions are where the top 10% of the wealthiest people come from (I threw out lottery and inheritance most of us are not that fortunate to be given it). I have wrote about this before in another post, so I thought this topic was well worth repeating. It will be easier for those of us who understand delayed gratification to break free from the traditional mindset and push forward when times are not so good, especially when it comes to building an internet business. There are a lot of times you will work your little butt off and seem like you achieved nothing, with the right mentality this will not only be welcomed but expected because you know that if you only keep pushing forward that in a blink of an eye it will all change for the better. In fact it can actually be at that moment when we gut it up that pushes into action and our businesses grow to new heights. Using discouragement as a motivation to do more instead of a reason to give up. I think the real reason most people fail with an online business is because they just give up, and the ones that are destined to make a living online are the ones that push forward no matter what.

“If The Dreams Big Enough The Facts Dont Count”

Find your reason, your dream, your “Why” whatever it is that lights you on fire that will keep you pushing forward even when you feel it is pointless. I could have quit a thousand times all ready…….My first two years I lost tons of money and invested thousands of hours, some days literally 15 to 16 hours straight and nothing to show but holes in my pockets. I did gain a couple things though, knowledge and the burning desire that I would do whatever it takes to reach my goals, no matter how long it took and whatever I had to go through, I would never quit! I think there is a point like this that every marketer reaches where either their mentality holds them back and they give up and quit, or they change their mental attitude and push forward and reach their goals and dreams.

So hold on, find a way, keep your goals focused, work hard, remind yourself everyday why you are doing this and decide once in for all that you will never give up, no matter what! The results will come, sometimes it just takes a little time………..
